About F PLUS

Presentation and information about the laboratory

F PLUS is a laboratory for fire testing and research established in the period 2007-2013 and officially opened in 2014.

It is accredited acc. to ISO/IEC 17025 by the Bulgarian Accreditation Service (BAS) and notified (NB 2548) acc. to Regulation No 305/ 2011.

Since July 2018 F PLUS is an official member of the EGOLF.

Scope of activity

F PLUS performs fire resistance tests in test chambers, which comply to the EN standards: horizontal (3 x 4 m) and vertical (3 x 3 m). F PLUS can provide testing of a full scope of building elements:

• loadbearing and non-loadbearing elements;
• protection of loadbearing elements;
• service installations;
• systems for fire and smoke control.

F PLUS issues classification reports for the defined direct (DIAP) and extended (EXAP) application.

F PLUS tests materials for determination of their reaction to fire as well.

The laboratory also carries out research projects in the field of fire safety. The results of the research activity are used in scientific analyzes, dissertations, development of building products and others.

Lab F PLUS is engaged in publishment of technical literature in the field of fire safety and rescue.

F PLUS counts on a team of highly qualified engineers and technicians.

Their mission is to provide competent and prompt service to their clients.
